SikkerFTP.dk
Features · free beta

Files delivered.
Stay in control.

From automated uploads to easy collection. SikkerFTP.dk brings file transfers, access and visibility together for individuals and businesses — hosted in Denmark.

From your system to the recipient

  1. Upload

Your system submits the file to /upload through SFTP or the web.

  2. Scan and release

An approved file is moved to /filer. Submitted files cannot be downloaded before scanning.

  3. Download or share

Recipients download through SFTP, the file portal or a protected download link.

What's included

Tools for the entire transfer

Set up access, submit files, send them on and track activity. These features are part of the current free service.

Integrations

Endpoints for your systems

Give each integration its own endpoint with separate credentials and file storage. Use an SFTP client or automate transfers from your IT system.

Modern SSH keys, optional key-only sign-in, pause and endpoint password rotation.

No extra software

Browser-based file portal

Upload and download files through the web portal when an SFTP client is not the easiest option.

Open the file portal from your endpoint without entering its credentials again.

Overview

File listing with quick search

View folders and files directly from your dashboard. Search for a filename in the current folder.

Search runs before the display limit of 500 entries is applied. It does not search subfolders.

Malware checks

Scanning before download

New files are submitted to /upload. Only files approved by the scanner become available in /filer for download and sharing.

Scanner errors, timeouts and encrypted archives do not automatically grant access. Antivirus reduces risk but is not a guarantee.

Sharing

Protected download links

Share a file or folder with a password-protected link. Recipients do not need an account and get read-only access.

Choose an expiry of up to 7 days and up to 10 downloads. You can revoke the link.

Storage and traffic

Track your usage

Track storage per endpoint and total monthly account uploads and downloads. Usage bars and quota warnings keep you informed.

Shared-link downloads also count. The traffic meter normally updates every minute after completed transfers.

Traceability

Customer-specific activity log

View recorded connections and file operations with IP address, protocol, result and time. File events also show the affected path.

Filter your own activity. Times use the Danish time zone. The log is an operations tool, not a guarantee of a complete audit trail.

Data in transit

Automatic file expiry

Choose the file lifetime per endpoint, from 1 to 30 days. The system automatically removes expired files.

Cleanup runs hourly. The service is for temporary transfer, not long-term storage.

Your account

Account security and self-service

Protect your dashboard with optional two-factor authentication using an authenticator app and recovery codes.

Manage your profile, change your account password, export account information and request account deletion.

Free plan limits

Clear limits. No automatic charges.

Limits keep the shared service usable for everyone. Storage is measured in GiB, traffic in decimal GB, and speeds are limits — not guaranteed capacity.

File size
2,000 MiBPer file; also the proxy's limit per upload request

2,000 MiB is approximately 1.95 GiB. Web uploads share the proxy limit across files and form metadata. One active file transfer is allowed per endpoint. Resuming uploads and overwriting existing files are not supported; delete the approved file or choose a new name before uploading again.

Traffic is shared across all account endpoints and counted per Danish calendar month. The file server enforces the quota, but it is not a byte-exact network limit.

Good to know before you start

Transfers, not backups

Customer files are not backed up or encrypted at rest. SFTP and HTTPS protect data in transit. Always keep your own copy; the beta has no guaranteed uptime or recovery.

Use access responsibly

New registrations must be approved before the account can be used. The service supports SFTP and HTTPS, not unencrypted FTP. Only share data you are entitled to transfer, and read the terms before use.
